Job Summary: Altus Group has an immediate requirement for a Director to join our Investor Services team. Altus Group works with some of the largest property owners, investors, and developers in the UK. We hold a strong client base that continues to grow year on year. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the team and will be responsible for managing key investor accounts and advising them over strategies to manage their tax liabilities, identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding brand presence, and increasing company revenue. Key Responsibilities: Managing several of Altus’ key Investor client accounts. Providing strategic advice to clients and managing the resulting casework to conclusion. Identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential clients. Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business. Expanding our reach and brand presence through key networking events. Key Qualifications: A good knowledge of the property industry and UK property taxation (business rates) is essential. Experience of dealing with property investors, developers, and owners is essential. Good knowledge of case law and legislation. Experience of taking cases to Valuation Tribunal. Proven business development, sales, or marketing experience in the property industry is advantageous. Expectation to grow client base and own work. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Strong business acumen. No requirement to manage people, although we have a strong team ethic, so working closely with other surveyors is expected. MRICS and/or IRRV qualification preferable.
