The role of Director of Accounting & Financial Control is really important to us. You will be responsible for the financial management and reporting of multiple business units, managing a senior team to deliver accurate, robust consolidated results. Your responsibilities day to day will be… Day to day support to the Director of Finance, supporting in the overall financial stability and strategy of the business units. Leadership and development of a senior team, responsible for the Accounting & Financial Control and Financial Operations environment. Delivery and challenge of timely, accurate and consolidated financial results with supporting commentary across UK and European territories. Ensure strict balance sheet control and cash flow management. Enhancing of the control environment, ensuring authorisation layers, segregation of duties, and functional role allocation across multiple business units. Driving improvement in our Financial Operations departments, ensuring a customer-focused approach to our invoicing and payment collection processes, as well as revenue assurance for the business. Continued acquisition integration and challenge of internal processes. Leading and delivering transformational change to ensure the team is set up for scalable growth in its structure, data strategy, process and controls. Lead on and work with the business on the introduction of new technology to enhance and develop the function. Support and develop our relationship with financial partners including finance providers, funding houses and banks. What can you expect of us?
