London (onsite) £110,000-£130,000 We're partnering with an AI-focused start-up in the Biotech space focused on using AI to advance medicines. They're looking for a Director of AI to join their existing team of 3 AI experts to work on projects using multimodal data from various sources, working on projects from research to deployment. THE ROLE As Director of AI for the business you will:
Manage a small team of Data Scientists Read research papers to come up with new ways of using AI to solve business problems Lead projects using multimodal data and cutting-edge AI techniques Take projects from ideation through to deployment, getting involved in DevOps and Version Control where needed Opportunity to mentor junior team members Liaise with senior stakeholders across the business SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Master's or PhD in a relevant subject Experience working with cutting-edge AI techniques e.G. LLM's etc Strong commercial experience as a Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer / AI Engineer with a preference for Biotechnology industry experience Experience working with large, multimodal data sets from various sources Good communication skills Experience managing a small team Tech: Python, SQL, Cloud technology SALARY AND BENEFITS Basic salary £110,000-£130,000 London office - required in minimum 3 times per week but ideally 4 Private Medical care Discretionary performance-related bonus Pension Wider Benefits package HOW TO APPLY Please register your interest for this role by sending your CV to Rosie O'Callaghan via the apply link on this page
