About Luupli Luupli is a social media app that has equity, diversity, and equality at its heart. Luupli started internal testing since June 2024 and is getting ready for commercial BETA testing from December 2024, with the hope of launching fully in the summer of 2025. Our team is made up of passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to making Luupli a success. We are presently in search of an exceptional Head of Brand and Communications to lead and orchestrate all facets of internal and external communications for our brand. In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with elevating our brand identity, coordinating public relations endeavours, and disseminating our narrative to a worldwide audience. Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy encompassing media outreach, social media content curation, and influencer engagement. Safeguard and enhance the integrity and reputation of the Luupli brand across all platforms and touchpoints. Cultivate and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders, thought leaders, and influencers within the industry to amplify our brand presence. Lead and oversee PR initiatives, including but not limited to orchestrating media interviews, delivering impactful speeches, issuing press releases, and crafting compelling presentations. Act as the primary liaison for media inquiries, individual queries, and organizational communications, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Develop and disseminate a wide array of communication materials, including press kits, newsletters, blog posts, and thought leadership articles, to effectively convey the organization's messages to the public and media outlets. Monitor and analyse communication metrics and feedback to continuously optimize strategies and initiatives for maximum impact and engagement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. Proven track record of success in a senior-level communications or PR role, with extensive experience in developing and executing integrated communication strategies across diverse channels and platforms. Demonstrated expertise in managing media relations across online, broadcast, and print mediums, with a keen understanding of media landscape and trends. Proficiency in leveraging digital tools and technologies, including MS Office suite, social media management platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling prowess. Strong leadership acumen, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex issues and crisis situations with poise and agility. Proven ability to thrive in a startup or entrepreneurial environment, with a high degree of adaptability, resilience, and resourcefulness. Compensation: This position offers equity-only compensation, presenting a unique opportunity to acquire a stake in an exponentially growing enterprise and directly contribute to its prosperity. The role will turn into a paid role after securing seed funding, which may be at the end of the year or early next year.
