sectors. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless flow of communication and a robust client engagement plan. Stay informed about client needs, ensuring alignment with the company's capabilities and offerings. Sales and Revenue Growth : Meet or exceed targets outlined in the annual sales and revenue plan. Drive order intake, forecast revenue growth, and conduct quarterly revenue tracking to ensure alignment with business objectives. Identify and pursue new opportunities through proactive territory mapping and targeted client engagement. Proposal and Bid Management : Lead the preparation of compelling proposals that translate client challenges into actionable project plans. Ensure adherence to internal governance processes, including CRM compliance and the BID/NO BID framework. Collaborate with technical and business leaders to present competitive bids that exceed client expectations. Market and Competitor Analysis : Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities. Develop and implement strategies to address market challenges and differentiate the company from competitors. Collaboration and Leadership : Engage cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Digital, to enhance brand visibility and support client engagement. Promote multi-discipline and cross-discipline collaboration to maximize value from large client projects. Take a leadership role in developing long-term strategic relationships with key clients. Event Participation and Reporting : Represent the company at industry conferences and events, compiling insights and sharing learnings with the senior leadership team. Prepare monthly reports detailing order intake, engagement progress, client visits, and other key metrics. Contract Management : Oversee contractual negotiations, ensuring alignment with company policies and client expectations. Support the commercial and legal teams with the review and execution of agreements such as MSAs and frameworks. Experience and Qualifications Experience : Over 10 years in a Business Development role, preferably within the

pharmaceutical/engineering sectors . Proven experience with CAPEX and facility requirements, including process and equipment considerations. Strong track record in account management and complex project coordination. Education : Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, or Life Sciences (or equivalent). Knowledge of GMP manufacturing and regulatory landscapes is desirable. Skills : Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to scope, negotiate, and manage contracts. Proficiency in building and maintaining high-level client relationships. Analytical mindset to prioritize opportunities and evaluate new business prospects. Additional Requirements Willingness to travel within the UK to meet clients and attend internal meetings (up to 40% travel). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across various levels of an organization. Familiarity with tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and CRM systems to ensure seamless internal communication and documentation. Seniority level
