We are currently looking for a

Director of Central Services

and

Company Secretary

who will be responsible for the leadership and delivery of excellent services within our People and Culture, Corporate services, Communication & Stakeholder Engagement, Change Management & Transformation teams.

This role is a permanent position with a salary of £126,358.

The postholder will also undertake the role of the Company Secretary for the organisation. The successful applicant will have experience of working at a senior level within housing and have a good understanding of current and future challenges facing social housing. They will be a confident decision-maker with a commitment to continuous business improvement while fostering a culture that supports delivery of our strategic ambitions.

Criteria for the role:

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience

Relevant Company Secretary qualification and/or previous experience in this area is desirable

At least 5 years’ experience at a senior management level in a housing-related environment

Demonstrable experience of successfully inspiring, leading, driving and developing high-quality, responsive and customer-focused services

Board level experience or the potential to reach this level rapidly

About the role:

This postholder will be a key member of the Executive Management Team, ensuring the delivery of our vision, values, business strategy and ambitious transformation programme.

Some of the duties of the

Director of Central Services and Company Secretary

include:

Leading the development and implementation of the people, customer and governance strategies of the organisation

Leading a number of multi-disciplinary service teams to deliver the organisation’s strategic outcomes that enhance the services and support a solution-led approach and continuous business development

Being a proactive and strategic thinker with an authority for defining business strategies and translating them into action

Influencing and negotiating with internal and external parties to drive new, innovative concepts that support business growth, in particular supporting our transformation, sustainability and carbon neutral agenda
