Salary: Up to £55,000 Hours: Full-time  Location: Leeds Are you a motivated and visionary clinical leader ready to make a transformative impact? A highly regarded healthcare provider is seeking a dynamic and capable Director of Clinical Services (DoCS) to join their dedicated team at a specialised rehabilitation and recovery service in West Yorkshire. This is your chance to lead with purpose and drive exceptional patient outcomes. About the Facility This standalone, 19-bed service in Leeds offers rehabilitation and high-dependency recovery support for adults across two distinct wards: One ward provides bespoke therapeutic programmes (BTP) in self-contained single-occupancy apartments. The other is a 17-bed ward specialising in male care. The service supports individuals, often detained under the Mental Health Act, who are navigating complex mental health needs, personality disorders, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or gender identity challenges. The Role As the Director of Clinical Services, you will: Take full responsibility for the clinical services operation, including nursing and therapy. Ensure the highest standards of patient care at all times. Develop and deliver the hospital’s strategic goals as a key member of the senior leadership team. Provide clinical and operational leadership to achieve outstanding therapeutic outcomes. Forge strong relationships with external health and social care professionals. Drive compliance with all legislation, regulations, and organizational standards. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of meaningful engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement. By embedding a positive, patient-centered approach within the clinical team, you will ensure that quality care becomes second nature. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will bring: Essential Qualifications: Active registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Supervisory or managerial experience in a mental health setting. A minimum of two years as a Ward Manager or equivalent. Experience managing clinical budgets and leading quality initiatives. Comprehensive knowledge of statutory regulations and a passion for delivering high-quality care. Strong leadership, decision-making skills, and the ability to navigate dynamic environments. A proven track record in people management and collaboration with external professionals. Desirable Skills: A recognised post-registration qualification. Membership or accreditation with a relevant professional institution. Evidence of continuous professional development. What’s in It for You? Join an organisation that values and invests in its people. Benefits include: Generous Leave: 25 days annual leave (increasing to 27 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years). Work-Life Balance: Birthday Leave and enhanced maternity pay. Professional Support: NMC or HCPC fee reimbursement and training opportunities. Perks and Discounts: Employee benefits scheme with discounted shopping vouchers and interest-free Apple product loans. Wellness Programs: Access to Employee Assistance programs. Convenience: Free on-site parking. Why This Role? This position offers the chance to lead during an exciting period of positive change, shaping the future of a service dedicated to making a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.
