My client is dedicated to sustainability and corporate responsible business practices and is committed to making a positive impact. As an industry leader in the Finance and Tech sector, they are seeking a talented and experienced Director of ESG to lead their Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives.

The Director of ESG will be responsible for creating and implementing the ESG strategy, aligning it with the company's mission, values, and business objectives. This role will require driving sustainability initiatives, fostering a culture of responsible business practices, and enhancing transparency and reporting efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the company's ESG strategy by setting measurable goals and targets for ESG performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG principles into the organization's daily operations and decision-making processes.

Lead efforts to reduce environmental impact, improve social responsibility, and enhance corporate governance.

Monitor and evaluate ESG performance against industry standards and benchmarks.

Manage ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting to stakeholders, such as investors, regulators, and the public.

Stay up-to-date with ESG trends, regulations, and best practices to achieve continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or Finance.

Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CSR, ESG) is preferred.

Proven experience of a minimum of 7 years in ESG, sustainability, or related fields in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and industry standards.

Familiarity with ESG data management and reporting tools.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Outstanding project management skills with the ability to drive change within an organization.

A profound commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of relevant environmental and social issues, as well as regulatory frameworks.
