Director of EV Charging Network
Location:
Ideally UK, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, or Germany with frequent travel across the UK and Europe.
Job Purpose: The role of Director, EV is important to us. You will be responsible for driving the expansion and optimisation of our global EV charging and roaming ecosystem. This leadership role involves building strategic partnerships, overseeing commercial agreements, and aligning with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Your Responsibilities Day To Day Will Be: Build, expand and maintain the EV roaming and charging network. Partner with key stakeholders to establish strategic relationships for EV roaming and fleet charging. Devote time to business development, networking, and prospecting for partnerships, including visibility of Radius at industry events and expos. Oversee contractual, legal, and commercial aspects of EV roaming partners. Work with internal stakeholders across Legal, Technical, Customer Services, and Financial departments. Keep the business updated with competitors, regulation, and any significant market head or tailwinds. Target 50+ EV roaming partners globally by end 2026. Expect GP growth to triple by 2029. Increase volumes from the current 2 million kWh per month to at least 8 million kWh per month by FY29. What do we expect of you?
Proven track record in business development within EV roaming or related industries. Good knowledge of the EV market ecosystem. Strong network of contacts within the EV roaming market. Ability to manage P&L with a strong commercial focus. Capable of leading strategic negotiations and securing partnership agreements. What can you expect of us?
