We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Finance & Operations to join a dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a growing international business.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the company's financial and operational performance, while also contributing to strategic decision-making and supporting international expansion. This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in a variety of tasks from strategising, managing a finance team, as well as some daily accounting tasks, so a flexible nature is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing all aspects of financial accounting, including invoicing, receivables management, costings, budgeting, payroll and tax filings Preparing management accounts and liaising with auditors Ensuring the integrity of financial data and compliance with all relevant regulations Enhancing monthly reporting and providing insightful analysis and KPIs to support business decisions, including developing forecasting and budgeting processes further Optimising cash flow management, banking relationships, and balance sheet Exploring and evaluating potential business growth from a financial perspective Advising on optimal capital structure and financing requirements Improving cost efficiencies across the business Overseeing and leading finance team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment Providing strategic and financial guidance on international accounting, assessing and mitigating risks, as well as ensuring tax compliance The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Finance Director or similar with a strong track record of success in a fast-paced environment.

You will have:

In-depth knowledge of Xero accounting software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and translate financial data into actionable business insights Highly motivated, results-oriented, and a team player Resilience to adapt in a business with changing priorities If you are looking to join a business where you will take ownership of the accounting function, as well as being involved in the long-term strategy of a business from a financial perspective, call us or apply today!
