Director of Fundraising for Real Estate Private Equity - Asset Manager

Director of Fundraising – London & Switzerland Are you an experienced fundraiser looking for an exciting opportunity to shape the growth of an emerging manager in the alternative investments space? We are a dynamic and entrepreneurial firm currently raising our third fund, targeting €1 billion. With €200 million already committed, we’re building out our team to accelerate growth and secure substantial commitments from global institutional investors. The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Fundraising to join our team, with positions based in London or Switzerland. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our capital-raising efforts, working with a fast-growing fund focused on illiquid alternative assets. You’ll have the opportunity to build and expand a global investor base, work closely with senior leadership, and play a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of our firm. What You’ll Do Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure institutional capital from pension funds, family offices, insurance companies, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, and more. Leverage your existing network of trusted investors to cultivate relationships and secure institutional-sized commitments. Effectively communicate the fund’s unique value proposition, telling a compelling story to attract investor interest. Navigate the challenges of raising capital for an emerging manager, bringing creativity, confidence, and persistence to the process. Represent the firm at industry events, investor meetings, and conferences, helping to build our reputation and brand. Work collaboratively with partners and senior leadership to align fundraising efforts with broader organizational goals. What We’re Looking For A minimum of 10 years of experience in fundraising or business development, with a focus on illiquid alternative assets, preferably real estate. A proven track record of raising capital for first-time or emerging funds, with success in closing large-scale institutional commitments. Confidence, drive, and a proactive mindset to independently lead fundraising efforts and deliver results. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in a growing organization, with the ability to make a tangible impact on the firm’s success and establish yourself as a leader in the alternative investments industry. How to Apply If you have the experience, network, and drive to succeed in this exciting role, we’d love to hear from you. Please send your CV and the team will be in touch.
