Work Format: Hybrid (partially on-site, partially remote)

Time Status: Full-time

Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week.

Position Summary: The Director of Institutional Research & Analytics will lead the Office of Institutional Research & Analytics (OIRA), providing institutional data analysis and reporting to support Harvard's leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the development and execution of strategic analytics projects.
  • Manage the Institutional Research and Strategic Analytics teams.
  • Work with stakeholders on research, survey, and analytics consulting projects.
  • Oversee the reporting function of OIRA.
  • Lead discovery and scoping efforts on new analytics consulting projects.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Provost on accreditation coordination.
  • Promote data literacy and community building across the University.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics and/or institutional research leadership.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of data management and communication strategies.
  • Experience managing consulting projects.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex findings effectively.

Additional Information: This position has a 3-month orientation and review period. Harvard University does not provide visa sponsorship.
