As the Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in optimising operational processes, ensuring seamless logistics, and driving strategic alignment with the company’s global business objectives. Permanent Role Overview: Lead and optimise inbound and outbound operational processes across the EMEA region. Ensure high standards of accuracy, consistency, and visibility for all shipments and clearance procedures. Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and global teams to drive operational efficiency and support customer fulfilment. Manage EU customs processes to ensure compliance with regional regulations. Oversee SKU assemblies within the Pixi system and implement robust procedures for customs documentation. Drive advanced inventory management and conduct monthly reviews to prevent stock shortages. Manage the Outbound team for timely and accurate fulfilment of retailer orders. Direct the preparation and communication of inbound forecasts to maintain visibility for stakeholders. Lead stock reconciliations, manage customer claims and chargebacks, and ensure compliance with warehouse protocols. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and support scalability. Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of 8-10 years in Operations Leadership, preferably in FMCG or beauty industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams. Experience in demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management. Exceptional communication skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders. In-depth understanding of EU import/export regulations and customs clearance procedures. Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting. Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
