The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.Director of Operations Applicants should meet the following criteria:Educated to degree level or postgraduate leadership and management qualification.Sound financial skills to be able to read and interpret financial data.Experience in analysis, reporting, and proposal development for capital assets and infrastructure investment.Experience in commercial contract management including property, funders of healthcare, NHS standard contracts.Knowledge of the service sector and the systems and processes used for revenue management and collection, debtors management.Proven ability in driving efficiency/optimisation activities (utilisation, cost saving etc.), telephony and IT network systems oversight.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Knowledge of regulatory requirements within hospital management.Experience in recruitment, selection, and development of staff - team comprises approximately 50 FTEs including mid-level managers and leads as part of this team.At least two years' experience in a healthcare setting and in a similar role advantageous.Duties of this role include:Responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of support services within the hospital, providing leadership for the effective management of all non-clinical functions.As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Director of Operations works with the Executive Director and Director of Clinical Services to create and deliver the strategic, operational, and business development plan for the hospital.Work as part of the Senior Management Team and any relevant departments to maximise patient activity and increase revenue.Help identify business development opportunities such as new services and development of existing services.Contribute to the hospital's business plan and support the managers and leads of departments responsible for formulating departmental plans and objectives.Ensure delivery of NHS activity according to RTT 18 week protocols.Salary & Benefits25 days holiday per year + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service.Private Pension Scheme.Private Healthcare Scheme for treatment at our hospitals, covering pre-existing medical conditions.Friends & Family Hospital Discounts.Family Friendly policies, including enhanced Maternity, Paternity & Adoption pay.Non-contributory life insurance.Staff engagement hub with access to discounts and extensive rewards and voluntary benefits.Access to resources, tools, and services to support your wellbeing.Employee recognition programmes.Industry-leading training and development opportunities.Are you ready to take on a new challenge?
