Director of Pastoral Care

The Greater Manchester Academies Trust is seeking to appoint a Director of Pastoral Care to become part of our team at Manchester Communication Academy. Who are we? The Greater Manchester Academies Trust is situated in Harpurhey, North Manchester. We are made up of Manchester Communication Academy and Manchester Communication Primary Academy. In addition, the trust also includes the Manchester Communication Research School. Our trust has a simple mission: to maximise the life chances of all of our children and families through academic excellence and deep social investment. Purpose of the role To work in partnership with the senior leadership and the pastoral team to play a lead role in improving the quality of student pastoral support. To deliver a high-quality learning experience by improving the academic performance, personal development, and well-being of all students in the Academy. To be a strategic and supportive member of the extended leadership team, playing a key role in maintaining a purposeful and highly effective learning environment.
