SF Recruitment have exclusively partnered with a local charity who are looking for a dynamic, experienced Director of People and Resources. Salary:

£52,000 per annum Excellent holiday allowance Flexible working Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Leadership:

Develop and lead HR strategies to enhance talent acquisition, performance management, and employee retention. Oversee employee relations, ensuring the charity's values and culture are upheld. Design and implement compensation and benefits programs. Manage diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote an equitable workplace. Handle grievance and disciplinary procedures in compliance with legal frameworks.

Corporate Governance and Compliance:

Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, particularly from the Charity Commission and CQC. Provide risk management insights and updates to the Board of Trustees. Monitor and report on resource utilization and legal compliance.

IT and Resource Strategy:

Lead the creation and execution of an IT strategy aligned with the charity's mission. Oversee the procurement and training of IT resources and ensure optimal use of technology. Manage the maintenance and operational efficiency of the charity's premises and transport fleet.

Quality Assurance and Organisational Development:

Implement strategies that promote a culture of continuous improvement. Align organisational processes and systems to support the charity's Vision, Mission, and Strategy.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

CIPD certification Strong knowledge of charity sector challenges and corporate governance frameworks.

Skills and Experience:

Proven track record in senior leadership roles, particularly in HR or People and Culture domains. Experience in strategy development and operational management within the charity or non-profit sector. Expertise in legal and regulatory compliance for charities, including familiarity with the Charity Commission and CQC standards. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and resources, including IT and premises.
