Director of People, Learning & Development, The Loddon Foundation Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (Dependant on experience and qualifications) The Loddon Foundation is home to 30 children who all have severe autism and complex learning difficulties. The school provides 52-week care and education provision for our children and young people between the ages of 8-19. We are a dedicated, compassionate organisation; highly regarded as pioneers within the special needs education sector. We are seeking to appoint a full-time Director of People to drive the People and Learning strategy for the organisation. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of People initiatives as well as influencing a positive and inclusive organisational culture. As People Lead, you will work closely with your Charity Leadership peers, support the CEO, and Board of Trustees. This is an exciting time to join our organisation. We have a dedicated team of professionals with many years of expertise; working together to deliver the highest quality Care and Education. Ensuring we have dedicated, qualified, engaged, and motivated staff is essential to our ongoing success and sustainability. Applicants must have proven experience in a senior leadership role. Ideally, you will have some experience within the education, healthcare, or not-for-profit sectors; however, if your achievements in the People and Learning space are significant - and you enjoy the challenge of multiple tasks and supporting the growth and development of others, then this is the role for you. You will be a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building and influencing skills, consistently demonstrating a calm approach and resilience. Your hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week and Bank Holidays are classed as normal working days.
