As
Director of Product Design , you will translate company goals into a product design strategy that enables Sweep to create simple and impactful user experiences at scale. You will lead the existing product design team, champion user-centred practices, and ensure that our product delivers both beauty and functionality to businesses embracing sustainability. You’ll set the vision for design, ensure alignment across teams, and elevate the design function to drive customer delight, retention, and growth. You will act as a unifying force, balancing product requirements, user needs, and technical feasibility. To be more specific, this includes: Lead design strategy and execution Drive Sweep’s product design practice, ensuring a simple, consistent and delightful BtoB SaaS experience across our entire platform. Collaborate closely with Sweep’s leadership team to translate Sweep’s company goals into impactful SaaS solutions. Establish best practices to drive continuous improvements to the user experience and the ways we measure design’s impact towards Sweep’s success. Drive a high-performing design team Lead and develop a growing world-class design organization that’s focused on impact. Ensure the design team works seamlessly with product, engineering, customer success and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional results. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, curiosity, and ownership. And provide clear direction, feedback, and professional growth opportunities for team members. Build exceptional user experiences with impact Simplify complex data management challenges and sustainability standards into intuitive, actionable interfaces. Enforce user-centered design principles, using discovery methods like research, prototyping, and testing to ensure our user’s needs are always at the heart of every pixel. Grow Sweep’s design system to drive consistency and efficiency, and ensure that accessibility, usability, and scalability are foundational to all design efforts. Elevate design internally and externally Be an advocate for design excellence and its role in driving Sweep’s mission and growth. Proven experience delivering impactful designs in a B2B SaaS environment. A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions for complex business challenges. Deep expertise in design systems, interaction design, and information architecture. Experience leading cross-functional teams and working in close partnership with product and engineering. Strong proficiency in modern design tools and prototyping workflows. Qualities A true passion for nerdy, tricky software (design) problems.
