Director of Quality

to lead and enhance the care and support services for residents. With a focus on quality improvement and regulatory compliance, this role is perfect for someone with extensive clinical knowledge and a passion for service excellence.

Responsibilities:

Lead and support homes in coordinating resident care, focusing on quality improvement and regulatory compliance. Provide clinical training and monitor staff competency, particularly in medication administration. Conduct regular visits to each home to evaluate processes and perform compliance audits. Offer expertise on local and national regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. Make financial management recommendations to enhance care levels and manage nurse labour effectively. Support recruitment efforts, including interviewing Clinical Services Managers and collaborating with professional organisations.

Package and Benefits:

The Director of Quality will receive: Annual salary of up to £90,000. £5,000 car allowance + Mileage. Up to 30 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays, based on service length. Workplace pension with matching contributions. Private medical insurance and company sick pay.

Minimum Requirements:

The ideal Director of Quality will have: Registered Nurse status with a valid NMC PIN (RGN). Extensive clinical and medical knowledge. Strong understanding of regulatory standards. Experience in long-term care auditing. Excellent planning, communication, and organisational skills. A passion for elderly and dementia care, with a Dementia qualification being desirable. Care Home experience.
