Director of Sales - Managed Transportation Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead their sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management, business development, and account management. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to develop strategic sales initiatives that align with company goals. The Sales Director will be responsible for overseeing outside sales efforts, managing key accounts, and negotiating contracts to maximize profitability.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth. Identify new market opportunities and drive business development initiatives. Manage key client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Negotiate contracts with clients to secure profitable agreements. Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional activities. Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales performance, forecasting, and reporting. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

Experience: Business development: 1 year (Required) Outside sales: 1 year (Required) Account management: 1 year (Required) Sales: 1 year (Required) Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing successful sales teams. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. Extensive experience in outside sales and technical sales environments. Proficiency in account management practices and customer relationship building. Demonstrated success in business development initiatives that drive revenue growth. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing sales processes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
