The Director of ServiceNow Development will lead the ServiceNow UX and Portal team, overseeing the development, configuration, and optimization of ServiceNow modules to align with Agio's business goals and client needs. This is a mid-level management role requiring a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments. As a "player/coach," you will actively contribute to development efforts while guiding and mentoring your team.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

Lead a team of ServiceNow developers and business analysts/systems administrators, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Manage resource allocation to ensure team members are focused, unblocked, and delivering effectively. Provide mentorship and support for professional development within the team.

ServiceNow Development & Configuration

Oversee the configuration and customization of core ServiceNow modules, including CSM, CMDB, ITSM, Portal, and CPM. Maintain a hands-on approach to development as needed, demonstrating a "player/coach" mindset.

Strategic Planning & Execution

Translate business needs and ideas into technical requirements and actionable project scopes. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and align projects with organizational goals.

Process & Standards

Implement modern software development practices to optimize team efficiency and product quality. Ensure best practices are followed in development, testing, and deployment.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Act as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and leadership to ensure alignment. Regularly communicate project progress, risks, and achievements to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Experience

Proven experience managing teams of ServiceNow developers. Hands-on experience with configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules, particularly:

Customer Service Management (CSM) Configuration Management Database (CMDB) IT Service Management (ITSM) ServiceNow Portal Customer Project Management (CPM)

Skills & Knowledge

Strong ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions. Familiarity with modern software development practices, such as Agile methodologies. Expertise in resource management within a development team to maintain productivity and focus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to unblock team members in technical or process-related challenges. Personal Attributes

Demonstrated ability to lead as a "player/coach," contributing directly to technical work while mentoring the team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse teams. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on ServiceNow platform development.
