To help drive forward its strategic plan, the University is looking to appoint a Director of Sport and Active Wellness. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of the University Strategy for Sport and Active Wellness. Manage a diverse group of colleagues across the Sports Division, including monitoring and evaluating service delivery in line with Directorate operational plans. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring an inclusive and supportive culture among our Student Sports Clubs, creating a values-led culture that drives the emerging University Strategy for Sport and Active Wellness. Develop a giving and major gifts strategy with the Major Gifts team to support sports scholarships and the redevelopment of the University’s Centre for Sport at Headington. Collaborate with academic sports colleagues to explore and inform opportunities for co-existence in areas such as the sporting estate, sport and physical activity, wellbeing, student recruitment, skills/careers, and research.
