Position Overview: The Director of Supply Chain will oversee and optimize the company's entire supply chain operations, from sourcing and procurement to distribution and logistics. This role requires a highly strategic leader who can manage complex systems, lead cross-functional teams, and work closely with senior leadership to drive efficiency, cost savings, and continuous improvement across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with company goals and objectives. Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline supply chain operations, reduce costs, and increase overall efficiency. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of supply chain professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Supplier & Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers. Ensure optimal sourcing and timely delivery of products. Forecasting & Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize excess inventory, and prevent stockouts. Logistics & Distribution: Optimize logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery to customers while minimizing costs. Manage relationships with transportation partners and distribution centers. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, including disruptions, delays, and cost fluctuations. Data & Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to inform decisions on supply chain strategy, performance, and continuous improvement. Budget Management: Manage the supply chain budget and track expenditures to meet financial goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as procurement, manufacturing, sales, and customer service to ensure a seamless and efficient end-to-end supply chain. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, logistics, and procurement processes. Proven track record of optimizing supply chain operations and driving cost savings. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making. Experience with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
