Director, Process Digitisation, Operational Excellence

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Digitisation to lead and drive our global strategy and implementation of process digitisation initiatives. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with our Process Excellence Team and various Business Teams to ensure seamless integration and optimisation of digital processes. This role will serve as the Center of Excellence (COE) for Process Mining, Task Mining, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and the Microsoft Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement a comprehensive global digitisation strategy in alignment with business goals. Act as a thought leader and advocate for digitisation, driving innovation and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

Work closely with the Process Excellence Team to identify opportunities for process digitisation and automation. Engage with Business Teams to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure successful implementation of digital solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive change and adoption of new technologies.

Center of Excellence (COE) for Digital Tools:

Establish and lead the COE for Process Mining, Task Mining, RPA, and Microsoft Power Platform. Provide expertise and guidance on best practices, tools, and methodologies for process digitisation. Ensure the development and maintenance of standards, frameworks, and governance for digital tools and platforms.

Change Leadership:

Act as a change leader, driving the cultural and behavioural changes necessary for successful digitisation. Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth transitions and high levels of adoption. Deliver training and support to teams to build digital capabilities and confidence.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in digitisation and automation. Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to experiment with and adopt new digital solutions. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digitisation initiatives, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Project Management and Execution:

Oversee the end-to-end implementation of digitisation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with IT and other relevant departments to ensure technical feasibility and successful deployment. Track and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management.

Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Extensive experience in process digitisation, process mining, task mining, RPA, and the Microsoft Power Platform. Proven track record of leading large-scale digitisation projects in a global, cross-functional environment. Strong expertise in change management and a demonstrated ability to lead cultural and organisational change. Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organisation. Passionate about new technology and innovation, with a proactive approach to staying current with industry trends. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills. At least 10 years’ experience working as a functional leader/delivery leader/management consultant at a senior level for a leading Professional IT/Business services/Financial Services organization or in-house consulting team for a large enterprise.

Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in relevant digital tools and platforms (e.g., UiPath, Power BI, Power Automate). Experience in a Center of Excellence or similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
