About the Role As a Director, Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our Quantity Surveying team while driving projects forward in a proactive and professional manner. This role involves close collaboration with our Managing Director, leading tender processes for new business, and delivering excellence across all stages of project management. You'll oversee a range of private sector projects, primarily in London and the South-East, while working alongside Project Managers, Building Surveyors, and Expert Witnesses. The role demands a highly organised, personable, and detail-oriented individual who is committed to service excellence and strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the growing London Quantity Surveying team. Constructively challenge client expectations, offering innovative solutions. Ensure timely completion of tasks aligned with key milestones and deadlines. Uphold high-quality service standards through adherence to Adair's policies and procedures. Regularly report to Directors on deliverable performance and fee income. Negotiate agreements regarding costs and fees while monitoring financial targets. Identify and establish new client relationships and opportunities. Continuously improve and develop Adair's best-in-class products. Skills and Experience Required Qualifications: RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying and full MRICS status. Experience: 5-10 years' upwards experience, preferably in residential Quantity Surveying. Strong interpersonal and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
