Job Summary:

The Sales Director for the UK & Ireland (UKI) will be responsible for driving Supermicro’s growth and market share in the region by developing and executing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge, a passion for technology, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the technology sector. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets across the UKI region. Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a high-performance culture. Customer Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners and system integrators, understanding their needs and positioning Supermicro’s solutions effectively. Market Development:

Identify new business opportunities, expand Supermicro’s presence in the region, and drive penetration into new verticals such as cloud, data center, AI, and edge computing. Forecasting & Reporting:

Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and regular performance reports to senior management. Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams including business development, marketing, product management, and engineering to ensure customer needs are met and feedback is integrated into future product development. Competitive Analysis:

Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications:

Experience:

8+ years of sales experience in the IT hardware/software industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing sales teams. Experience in the server, data center, or cloud computing sectors is highly preferred. Proven Track Record:

Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive and fast-paced environment. Leadership:

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive a sales team towards ambitious goals. Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of server technologies, cloud solutions, AI, and edge computing. Ability to engage in technical discussions with customers and stakeholders. Strategic Thinker:

Ability to develop strategic sales plans, with a focus on long-term growth and market expansion. Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders. EEO Statement
