Director, Total Reward, UK & Europe Role Summary Reporting to the Vice President Total Reward this role will Lead Total Reward (Compensation, Pension, Share Scheme and Benefits) activities for the UK & Europe region of AtkinsRéalis. The incumbent will be based in Epsom, UK (hybrid work options are also available) and will manage a number of regionally focused compensation, pension and benefits colleagues to support and drive Total Reward activities for the region. The incumbent will work closely with global reward colleagues, the India based HR shared services centre (the PeopleHub) as well as the HR teams in the region. We have a Total Reward Global Programmes team who manage global activities e.g. annual merit and bonus reviews, recognition and wellbeing programmes and provide data analytical support for the on-shore regional compensation activities. We additionally have a Global Benefits team who support pension & benefits operational activities for the regions of AtkinsRéalis. The incumbent will act as the interface with the Total Reward Global Programmes and Global Benefits teams to drive transformation of the Total Reward function and to ensure the needs of the regional business are met. Role Accountabilities Understand regional business talent strategy, execution plans and challenges Provide subject matter advice, consultancy & education to HR and business leaders to:

maximise the impact of corporate Total Reward frameworks evaluate local requirements and develop local market Total Reward solutions

Provide market practice and data insights to influence business decisions & strategy Participate as Total Reward subject matter expert on the UK & Europe HR leadership team Establish and manage Region Total Rewards governance structures Identify and action transformational activities aligned to the operational priorities of Total Reward and the wider HR function Build trusted relationships with Region Leadership, HR & Finance & other stakeholders including pension scheme trustees Manage local compensation, share scheme and benefit plans, programmes & vendors Oversee a portfolio of defined benefit and defined contribution pension scheme arrangements and vendors Manage in-region Total Reward colleagues Skills & Attributes Demonstrable experience in a Total Reward lead role across UK & Europe: particularly UK, Republic of Ireland, Germany and France Proven capability in leading compensation, pension (defined benefit and defined contribution), share scheme and benefits programmes Strong commercial understanding and the ability to build a compelling business case A great communicator with strong networking, presentation and influencing capability Diagnostic and analytical skills and an ability to use story-telling to present compelling data driven propositions to HR and the business Digitally savvy with a strong understanding of HR and reward systems (Workday experience preferred) Proven project and change management capability A solid understanding of global and regional Total Reward programmes and governance frameworks Experience of working with, managing and leveraging vendors Demonstrable resilience with the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously in a fast-changing environment. Educated to degree level; CIPD, Reward and/or actuarial qualifications would be advantageous.
