Management responsibilities To provide assurance of effective clinical governance across the AHP professions within the directorate and contribute to the quality agenda. To develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security. To ensure relevant national and local policies are implemented. To be jointly responsible for the recruitment, retention and professional management of AHP staff across the Directorate with the Team Lead and Lead AHP. To demonstrate the ability to effectively use available resources to analyse data and guide decisions. To hold other AHP staff to account regarding performance and behaviours. Leadership To represent AHP staff at the directorate management team meeting and also communicate information from management teams back to AHP clinical teams. To support staff to undertake CPD activities and appraisal specific to directorate needs within the Trust. To represent the directorate AHP staff at Trust level and externally. To review and reflect on own practice and performance through effective use of professional and operational supervision. To exercise good personal time management, punctuality and consistent reliable attendance. To support directorate recruitment and structures for AHP staff.
