Job Description:
The Director/Sr. Director EHS & Security will oversee all Health, Safety, Environmental and Security operations to ensure compliance with or exceed local and national environmental regulatory requirements for the IOPS division of Regeneron in Limerick.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive a strong safety culture, programs, and behavioral awareness. Develop and implement EHS and Security policies, programs, and direction. Report EHS and Security metrics to the Senior Leadership Team. Lead organizational development and changes. Ensure emergency planning and risk management for sites. Review and revise compliance documents related to EHS and security issues. Direct, review, and approve regulatory compliance documentation and reports. Coordinate onsite health and safety, environmental protection, and public safety/security plans and policies. Act as liaison between EHS/Security and other site management groups to resolve safety issues. Liaise with local and national emergency response organizations. Participate in audits and inspections, and follow up on findings.
Requirements:
To be considered, you must hold a BS Degree or higher in a relevant field with 10+ years (Director level) or 15+ years (Sr. Director level) of experience in a Health and Safety management role in an operational regulated manufacturing facility. This should include supervisory/leadership experience, experience within a regulated environment, and interaction with national and local regulatory agencies.
