A leading food-to-go manufacturer are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispatch Manager to join the night shift team. As the Night Shift Dispatch Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of food products to customers. You will oversee the entire dispatch process, coordinating with various departments to guarantee on-time delivery and exceptional service. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a team will be vital in meeting delivery targets and maintaining high standards. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the dispatch operations, including scheduling, routing, and tracking of deliveries. Coordinate with production, warehouse, and transportation teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Optimize delivery routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to ensure adequate stock availability for timely dispatch. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as food safety standards and transportation guidelines. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for dispatch operations. Lead, train, and develop a team of dispatch personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Resolve any delivery-related issues, such as delays, discrepancies, or customer complaints, in a timely and professional manner. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to dispatch operations, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices. Requirements: Previous experience in dispatch management, preferably within the food manufacturing or distribution industry. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proficient in using dispatch management software and other relevant tools. Sound knowledge of transportation regulations, safety protocols, and best practices. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
