Our store Recently opened in April 2024, Specsavers Porthmadog are looking for a clinically driven Optometrist to join them on a full or part-time basis. The focus at this store is about pulling together and working as a team to ensure that our valued patients have an excellent experience. Upon joining our team, you will have access to the very latest equipment, including Nidek OCT and Nidek auto-phoropters right at your fingertips. We have a clear-sighted vision to transform eye health in our community. As our next Optometrist, you will have the opportunity to provide a first-class experience to every one of our patients. We are located in the picturesque harbour town of Porthmadog known for its rich maritime history and quaint shops and restaurants. Nestled on the edge of Snowdonia National Park and the Llyn Peninsula, you will be located just a short walk away from some of the finest scenery in Wales. Our team We have a wonderful team in our store ready and waiting for you to meet. Our Dispensing Opticians are an integral part of our store team, so we’re keen to get you up to speed. Along with your clinical and retail expertise – this will stand you in good stead if you choose to become a store director yourself one day. What's on offer? Firstly, you’ll need a BSc (HONS) in Ophthalmic Dispensing and an excellent understanding of both the optics and audiology customer journeys.
