Duties will include:
Managing own caseload of commercial contentious matters to include Shareholder & Partnership Disputes, Contract Disputes, Insolvency, Court Representation (list not exhaustive). Managing most of the procedure from instruction through to settlement. Providing a responsive service, giving clear and concise legal advice. Experience of taking matters to court is beneficial, but not essential. Attending to clients of the firm on a regular basis. Being actively involved in the marketing and business development of the team and wider firm. Maintaining continuing professional development requirements and taking an active interest in furthering knowledge within litigation. Regularly attending and being involved in preparation for team meetings.
The successful candidate will:
Be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 - 6 years of PQE. Be able to work with minimal supervision. Have a very high level of technical competence when drafting documentation.
