Primary Accountabilities (Essential Duties): Daily Operations:

Oversee daily operations of the distribution center, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce cost. Logistics Management:

Oversee all inbound and outbound truck operations, coordinating with suppliers, transportation companies, and customers, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of materials. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory and shipments. Inventory Control:

Manage inventory levels, track shipments, and implement best practices for inventory accuracy and organization. Team Leadership:

Supervise a small team of full-time employees and temporary employees, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance and productivity. Manage relationships with temporary employment staffing agencies. Safety Compliance:

Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a safe work environment. Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Communication:

Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to coordinate shipments and address any logistical challenges. Reporting:

Maintain accurate records and reports related to inventory, shipments, and team performance for management review. Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports related to distribution center operations. Employee(s) Group/Department Supervised: Facility team:
