Overview

PepsiCo is looking for a Network Coordinator to join our busy Logistics Team based at our Southern Region Distribution Centre in Leicester. This role is a secondment for 9 months, working Thursday to Monday covering the weekends. Shifts on weekdays start between 7am and 9am to 3pm and 5pm. The Southern Region Distribution Centre (SRDC) is our largest distribution site in the UK. Working closely with our manufacturing and supply chain teams, we distribute the majority of our own products, and this is all made possible by the SRDC. If we’re not operating efficiently, our customers won’t find our great products on the supermarket shelves, which is definitely not good for business! In this role, you'll support the UK Customer Service & Logistics ambient service (Walkers & Quaker) agenda to provide best-in-class inventory management and service execution, delivering +98.5% inbound performance to all customers. The role focuses on the efficient and timely movement of all inventory across the UK ambient network (internal & external shipments), coordination of the long and short-term capacity planning process, and includes a high level of interface with multiple stakeholders such as demand planning, supply planning, and logistics execution teams across all internal and external sites. The role is also a key stakeholder in projects to improve customer service aligning to wider productivity & supply chain strategy. Responsibilities

Coordinate daily inventory management across the UK Logistics Network to ensure the right stock is moved at the right time. Lead root cause analysis on service performance across the supply chain (depot error, depot timeliness, transport timeliness, customer error, failure rates), aiming to drive best-in-class

Own all UK Logistics Network service reporting daily, weekly, and periodically (Network execution, DT Timeliness, DRP timeliness). Lead all associated service meetings collaborating with multi-site teams daily/weekly. Own elements of the overall Network improvement plan to deliver

Own short and long-term network capacity planning liaising with Supply Planning daily. Coordinate outside storage sites to the agreed pallet throughputs, ensuring correct product selection is handled through the site. Own network pallet demand forecast data and communicate associated promotional activities. Own Depot Level Safety stock levels in JDA. Conduct root cause analysis on all in-stock service errors partnering with Supply/Demand Planning teams. Supply PIUK sites with information on the status of urgent STOs during stock shortages as well as any delayed STOs by the dispatching site using Isotrak & depot contacts. Low code analysis and control, managing movements to clear stock through the DRP process partnering with Supply/Low Code teams. Ensure NPD is launched flawlessly with the correct inventory split across the Network. Prepare top-line service decks for Leadership team review in conjunction with the NSCM. Support ad-hoc project activity related to service performance as and when required. Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience: Advanced skills in all Microsoft Applications. Experience in customer interaction and logistics business environments. Supply/demand planning experience is desirable. Able to plan and control own work. Have a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem-solving. Strong facilitation skills with the ability to deliver accurate reports and presentations. Ability to understand the wider field outside of own specialization and understand how own role relates to other roles in the PepsiCo business. Knowledge of customer ordering processes and depot network setups linking back to how stock moves around the ambient network. Knowledge of systems associated with stock control at DC sites and DRP planning (IMI, SAP, JDA). Must have broad experience in customer interaction and logistics business environments. Optional but preferred: Knowledge of logistics and distribution management. Expert knowledge of Manugistics (DRP) planning system and company systems/current software packages including SAP, IMI-Warehouse, Manugistics Supply Planning, GTMS.
