The "Special Projects" team is Quick Release’s in-house software development centre-of-excellence, producing tools directly for clients, as well as tools to support the work of our analysts and consultants. The team is primarily full-stack developers located across UK, Germany & US and now we are looking for a passionate, collaborative, and motivated Django Software Developer to join the team. The role is home-based for the foreseeable future, with flexible working arrangements and remote working options for the long-term. Role

You will be responsible for: Working with other developers and a Product Owner to create impactful products Clearly communicating project status to stakeholders Growing your knowledge, skills & experience Attending the Special Projects daily stand-ups and monthly workshops Contributing to and learning from our knowledgebase Using Clubhouse to support our Scrum PM framework Participating in code review/rubber ducks Being a local Special Projects contact for a Business Unit Supporting the triage/closure of support tickets Additionally, we support some legacy and smaller tools using VBA, C# and R. Requirements

The selection process for this role will focus on technical aptitude as well as your transferrable experience as a Django developer. We offer the following requirements as a guide: You have experience with developing fullstack Django applications You can demonstrate a track record of designing and developing impactful products You have knowledge of the latest web development tools and techniques You write clean code, test thoroughly, and care about the people who use the things you create, taking pride in your work You can effectively translate requirements to features and understand how those features should be developed You understand Agile practices (preferably scrum) and git version control techniques. You hold a bachelor’s degree or higher-level accreditation in Computer Science (or another STEM subject) Rewards
