We are on the lookout for an Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer. Working in DL M&E's Electrical Testing Department is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to expand their career portfolio and establish their presence in the industry by working on a variety of innovative projects throughout the U.K. Although DL M&E are based in the Northwest, we are keen to build our operations team across the U.K. Main Duties and Requirements: City & Guilds Inspection and Testing 2391/2392 City & Guilds 2382-18 18th Edition Course (training can be provided) ECS Gold Card Experience inspecting commercial installations Experience in a variety of sectors, particularly banking, leisure, and retail Excellent written presentation skills A demonstrable history of completing electrical inspections with a fast turnover at a high quality Liaising with the Testing Manager across a variety of projects The ability to travel throughout the UK, with overnight stays and out of hours working required In return, we offer: Hourly rate of £20.46 Additional rates apply when supervising Regular available overtime, including weekends Paid travel and parking Overtime rates, including when travelling Career progression routes through development and training Working away allowance of £15 per evening (untaxed) All accommodation provided when working away, no room sharing, and breakfast provided Van and fuel card for company use Mobile phone allowance Pension Job security with an established and respected company Training and development in relation to skills/career progression and health and safety Holidays: 20+8 days bank holiday, increasing with length of service up to an additional 5 days This opportunity will suit individuals who want to develop and grow within their career.
