The Sinclair Group is currently hiring on behalf of our client. Following an expansion, they are looking for a Domestic Appliance Engineer.

As a Domestic Appliance Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include: Inspecting, repairing, installing, and servicing laundry, food storage, and cooking appliances. Handling service call jobs for the day, which will include customer contact details, product details, and fault descriptions. Organizing the day's schedule in line with timing constraints and geographical areas. Driving from call to call. Communicating with customers and the call centre. Conducting onsite safety checks. Processing and ordering parts online if the item of stock is not carried in the van. Making arrangements with customers for return visits.

The successful applicant will need to have the following qualities/skills: Previous experience is required; however, someone with good electrical and/or mechanical skills may be considered. A valid driver's licence. Good geographical knowledge of Newbury. Able to engage well with customers and provide first-class service. Effective communication with people at all levels. Quick learner and able to process new information. Motivated, dedicated, and hardworking. Computer literate. Physically fit as the role involves varying degrees of bending, squatting, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
