We are currently working with one of our prestige clients based in Nottingham to recruit an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer.

The main focus of this role will be to carry out service, repair, and maintenance work on domestic properties.

This company recognises the importance of a good work-life balance and takes an organised approach to work allocation.

You will be given support, training and the correct tools to carry out your role efficiently.

Ideally seeking a talented Gas Engineer with 5 years' experience. However, we are also open to new engineers from a strong Domestic Gas background who have Domestic Heating experience of a minimum of 2 years.

Gas Engineer Criteria: 3-5 years' hands-on experience as a Qualified Gas Engineer. ACS (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1) or equivalent City and Guilds Level 3 Customer focus - Someone who shares the same vision as us Gas Safe Working knowledge of all types of gas heating systems as well as appliances (e.g. Open vented, sealed system and combo etc.) Solid understanding of heating systems in the Commercial sector Installations to high standard Be efficient and able to overcome situations unsupervised Can-do attitude Full UK driving licence Team player

Main Duties/Responsibilities: Complete Landlord Gas Safety inspections and gas appliance servicing as per manufacturers' instruction at private and social housing properties. Carry out reactive maintenance on all types of boilers and heating systems. Strictly adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and all relevant industry standards (including basic risk assessments), whilst completing all work in line with manufacturers' recommendations and company procedures. A flexible approach to working hours, working overtime when required, and being part of an out-of-hours call-out rota (compulsory) to meet customer expectations. Responsible for managing company vehicles, including their cleanliness (inside and outside).
