The post holder will ensure staff are trained and equipped to complete all categories of cleaning. You will be given personal development opportunities throughout your career with Hampshire Hospitals and have the ability to manage Domestic Assistants whilst on a shift. We have established a full training programme for all of the Domestic Shift Leads and we also offer extensive training opportunities for those wishing to further excel their career. About us

Training & Qualifications

Health and Safety Awareness NVQ in Supervision or willing to take on development Level 1 standard Literacy and Numeracy Test on entry / or equivalent BICSc Qualified Health and Safety Qualification Customer Care Training Dementia Training ESDL or similar IT Qualification Experience & Knowledge

Knowledge of manual handling and health and safety regulations Knowledge of Infection Control procedures Experience of day to day supervision of staff Previous experience in a Domestic Service or similar public facing service To be able to use IT packages including Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word Experience of working in a healthcare environment Aware of COSHH regulations Experience of managing large teams Skills & Ability

Ability to communicate with staff, visitors and patients under challenging circumstances Ability to record details clearly and accurately Understanding of rota management and annual leave Experience Leading a Team Conflict Resolution / Breakaway training Other Specific Requirements

Physically fit enough to undertake duties / lifting, standing, twisting and bending movements activities safely Able to remain calm under pressure and in difficult situations Problem solver able to deal with difficult situations Able to prioritise workload Be adaptable and willing to develop Driving Licence Experience of using different IT devices Disclosure and Barring Service Check
