Brand new opening has arisen for a Domiciliary Care Manager / Home Care Manager to join a new domiciliary care company in Portsmouth. My client seeks a friendly and caring Domiciliary Care Manager. Candidates must have worked in a management capacity previously, ideally as a Domiciliary Care Manager / Home Care Manager. You will join a brand new domiciliary care company. You will ensure this domiciliary care company is a caring, compassionate organisation whose primary aim is to ensure a high standard of life for all service users. You will open and expand the organisation and you will sell domiciliary care services to new residents. You will ensure high calibre care is delivered at all times, help to market the service, and liaise with family members and future service users. You will hire and train staff, and increase the number of service users and domiciliary care hours. You will have full responsibility for the domiciliary care company, which will include hiring new staff, overseeing training, and home promotion. You will ensure compliance with CQC standards and liaise effectively with CQC Inspectors. The successful candidate will have the following skills: Domiciliary care management Domiciliary care commissioning knowledge beneficial CQC legislation knowledge Service promotion skills / marketing Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Strong planning and organisational skills Good communication skills
