Responsibilities: Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, changing of incontinent pads, etc.) Meal preparation Provide medication reminders or give medication (training will be provided) Assist with mobility (training will be provided) Offer companionship and emotional support Accompany clients to appointments and outings Why Home Instead Leigh? Excellent rates of pay: £12.00 p/h Mon-Fri and £12.50 p/h Sat & Sun, double pay on bank holidays Mileage paid at 45p per mile, with minimum wait time available Training and ongoing support NVQ 2, 3 & 4 available, fully funded Minimum calls of 1 hour to build a good bond with your client No uniform, allowing you to look and feel more like a friend or part of our client's family Blue light card Refer a friend scheme Qualifications: You don't need previous experience as we provide all the training you require to provide excellent care. All we ask of our care professionals are: A warm heart and caring nature Reliability and responsibility with a passion for making a difference in someone’s day Commitment to training the Home Instead way Local residency or willingness to travel to our clients A full driving licence with access to a reliable car The right to work in the UK Additional Information: The role is subject to satisfactory referencing and an enhanced DBS.
