Our Extra Care Housing schemes, also known as assisted living, consist of self-contained one or two-bedroom apartments, designed to help clients live independently. Clients can come and go as they please, socialise with neighbours or enjoy privacy. Our care teams are available round the clock to support clients with daily tasks and activities; this is known as domiciliary care. As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will make a real difference to our clients every day by supporting them with their daily routines, personal care, providing companionship, and assisting with light household duties. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring they lead happy and fulfilled lives. All clients live in the same building, so you won’t need to travel between different locations. In joining us, you’ll become part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside team members who are passionate about providing care, warmth, and kindness to all those who live and work in our schemes. If you've worked in retail, hospitality, or the warehouse industry, this could be suitable for you. Mayott House is a 40-bedroom Extra Care Housing scheme situated in Abingdon, rated Good by the Care Quality Commission. AND IN RETURN

Here are some of the benefits you’ll enjoy as a valued member of our team: 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) Higher rates of pay at weekends Workplace pension Life assurance Comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and development Free uniform Free DBS Refer a Friend scheme rewarding you up to £1000 for every successful recommendation Access to our Employee Assistance programme Care Worker Charity membership for well-being and financial aid Blue Light Card and “My Rewards” programme for discounts on shopping, days out, restaurants, and more ABOUT YOU

If you’ve worked in domiciliary care before, that’s great, but if this is new to you, don’t worry – we’ll provide all the training you need to start your care journey with us. Ideally, you should hold or be working towards a Health and Social Care qualification. More importantly, you should be a good communicator, compassionate, enjoy teamwork, be keen to learn, and strive to excel at your job every day. If you believe you have the right skills and attitude to deliver the highest quality of care as a Domiciliary Care Assistant within our Extra Care Housing division, apply now and start your career with us today. ‘We reserve the right to close this role before the closing date, with no advance notice.
