We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Carer to join our team in Leigh, United Kingdom. As a full-time domiciliary carer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions Provide emotional support and companionship to clients Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities when required Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Adhere to health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures at all times We pay £12p/h on weekdays and £12.50p/h on weekends; we also pay 45p per mile Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care First Aid and Moving and Handling certifications Previous experience in domiciliary care or a related healthcare field Strong personal care skills and basic medical knowledge Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Physical stamina to perform care duties throughout the day Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing situations Understanding of care plans and safeguarding procedures Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a care setting Compassionate and patient approach to client care Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential) Additional Information
