Domiciliary Carer Location: Finchley, North London Full-time Salary: £13.50 per hour

Job Description

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Domiciliary Carers in Finchley, North London. As a Domiciliary Carer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in their own homes, ensuring they remain independent and comfortable in a familiar environment. You will deliver personal care and support, making a meaningful difference to the lives of our service users.

Responsibilities Provide personal care to service users, including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Support service users with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as required. Assist with medication reminders and administration (as per training and guidelines). Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to promote independence and wellbeing. Help with light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping. Assist with social activities and encourage service users to engage with their local community. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided, including daily logs and reports. Follow care plans and support individual needs in accordance with company policies and procedures. Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and healthcare professionals.

What we offer Competitive hourly rate of £13.50 per hour. Flexible, full-time hours with opportunities for overtime. Ongoing training and professional development. Qualifications Previous experience in care or similar roles is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided. A caring and compassionate nature with a genuine passion for helping others. Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with service users, families, and colleagues. A commitment to promoting independence and dignity for those in your care. A full UK driving license and access to a car (preferred, but not essential). A DBS check will be required (we will assist with this if necessary).
