Job Details
Domiciliary sessions run out of an Independent Practice Three days available (flexible) Covering Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire (practice based in Chesterfield) £500 per day - 5 patients per day (who meet criteria for home treatment or treatment in a nursing home) No lab bills Workload typically includes fillings, prescription of medication, dentures, or simple extractions Well-managed diaries; patients are arranged to ensure you are close to the base practice towards the end of the day Established dental practice Permanent position Reference: JG4375 About the Practice
This NHS service is run via an independently owned practice based in Chesterfield, which has recently had its contract for domiciliary care extended to include additional sessions. The successful candidate will be provided with mobile equipment and will be accompanied by a dental nurse experienced in domiciliary care. The practice will manage and prebook your patients, ensuring travel is logically organized so that you will be close to the base practice by the end of the day. Scope of Practice
The scope of practice will be limited to fillings, prescription of medication, simple extractions, and dentures. Dentists do not pay anything towards lab costs and are paid a daily rate of £500 to see 5 patients per day. Minimum Requirements
Successful candidates will be GDC registered dentists, have an active dentist performer number, and have experience of providing NHS dental treatment in the UK. Application Process
