Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Door Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing door systems that meet our clients' specifications and security needs. This role requires a strong understanding of computer hardware, electrical systems, and networking principles, as well as the ability to interpret schematics and work with various hand tools. The Door Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our door systems, including integration with CCTV and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). Responsibilities Design and develop door systems tailored to client requirements. Build and assemble components using hand tools and computer hardware. Conduct system design reviews to ensure compliance with specifications. Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to integrate door systems with existing infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical components and networking. Create detailed schematics for installation and maintenance purposes. Provide technical support during the installation of door systems. Maintain accurate documentation of designs, installations, and modifications. Experience Proven experience in system design related to door engineering or similar fields. Proficiency in computer hardware assembly and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and principles. Familiarity with computer networking concepts relevant to security systems. Experience working with telecommunication equipment is advantageous. Understanding of CCTV integration within security frameworks is preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics effectively. Demonstrated experience using hand tools safely and efficiently.
