The Programme Manager is responsible for the operational delivery of all aspects of the Dorset Bowel Cancer Screening Service comprising Poole Hospital and Bournemouth Hospital at University Hospital Dorset (UHD) in the East of the county and Dorset County Hospital (DCH) in the West. The Programme Manager will ensure that effective and efficient structures are in place to meet all standards of patient care, managing associated risk and governance matters. This post holder will support the development of efficient and effective patient-centred services, meeting key financial and operational performance targets, and ensuring compliance with QA and National Office requirements. The post holder will ensure capacity meets demand while maintaining efficiency and effectiveness of the services in terms of cost-effectiveness, service improvement, and financial profitability. The post holder will develop and initiate plans to implement the FIT80 roll out. This role is a fixed-term contract and would also suit a secondment. Delivery of performance targets for BCSP Screening Services. Successful staff line management and development. Capacity Planning and Service Development. Leading with support from the Deputy General Manager of Specialist Medicine the Financial budgets of service. Data analysis and presentation to meet QA and National Office Requirements. Qualifications

Management/Leadership qualification to post grad diploma level. Experience

Minimum of two years’ management experience in a clinical/operational environment, including managing staff and influencing decisions. Experience of effectively managing operational targets and performance issues. Management of service needs within limited resources (budget management). Staff management and leading a team through change. Preparing business cases. Please note:
