Pipelayer/Drainage Ganger

PAYE basis (Must Drive)
On Offer: Rate of £21.97 per hour - first 39 hours Rate of £32.96 per hour - final 11 hours Rate of £24.39 per hour - average across 50 hours Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays) Lodge/Accommodation rate of £50.65 (paid if you are 50+ miles from site, with relevant documentation) Pension Training and upskilling paid for Safe working environment Free PPE Secure regular income
Overtime When Available: Saturday - First 4 hours' time & a half - after 4 hours double time Sunday - Double time
Candidates must have: Full understanding of all aspects and responsibilities of a Drainage/Pipelayer operative Experience of supervising a small team of operatives Ability to lead by example in a working supervisory position Carry out tasks assigned by overseeing operatives/Foreman regarding safety and method Ability to work with and set up Trench Boxes, Benching, Drag Boxes, Manhole Boxes, Trench sheets & framing, and use pipe lasers Experience in laying concrete, clay & plastic pipes of various sizes and depths (1 to 5 meters deep) Ensuring pipes are laid to correct levels, tested & backfilled to proper specification CSCS Blue Skilled Worker card CSCS EUSR Safe digging & Utilities Confined Spaces certification SSSTS Manual handling certification Driving Licence
Preferred: CSCS Gold card - Occupational Work Supervisor SMSTS Confined Space ticket CAT & Genny ticket
