The Position As a Drama Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the school's vibrant drama curriculum, fostering creativity, confidence, and collaboration among students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to explore the power of storytelling, character development, and theatrical expression. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver innovative lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and ignite students' passion for drama. Direct and produce school productions, showcasing students' talents and creativity. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages risk-taking, self-expression, and collaboration. Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development. Collaborate with colleagues within the arts department and across the wider school community to enrich the overall drama program. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Drama, Theatre, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification. Demonstrated experience teaching Drama at the secondary level. A strong understanding of theatrical techniques, performance practices, and stagecraft. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
