ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND DRAMA TEACHER CONTRACT: · A medium-size secondary school · To assist the Head of Department in ensuring that teaching in your subject is of high quality and contributes to the departments improvement plan. · To participate in staff development activities provided within the department and whole school. · To deliver, as directed, syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, assessment and marking policies and teaching strategies so that student needs can be met. · To report student progress in your subject to the Head of Department and to parents/carers.
THE RIGHT DRAMA TEACHER WILL BE: · Confident with teaching Drama to an A level standard · Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box · Degree relating to Drama · Teaching qualification · Eligibility to work in the UK · Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years · A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
